Leyla Yahya Design is a North London-based interior design studio working with homeowners across London, specialising in period properties, renovations, extensions and full-home projects. Our work focuses on creating homes that feel elegant, personal and shaped around the realities of everyday life.
As a full-service boutique studio, we guide projects from early concept through to completion, remaining closely involved at every stage and working alongside a trusted network of skilled specialists. RESIDENTIAL INTERIOR DESIGN STUDIO IN LONDON
Founded by Leyla Yahya, the studio was born from a desire to create homes that feel personal and deeply connected to the people who live within them. What began with the renovation of her own country home grew into a commitment to helping homeowners shape spaces that support the way they truly live.
With over 10 years of experience in residential design, Leyla has led full-house refurbishments, extensions and new build projects across London. Her work is defined by modern, refined interiors that balance individuality with timelessness.
Leyla is formally trained in interior design, having studied at the British Academy of Interior Design in London, and brings a distinctive cultural perspective shaped by her academic background in Oriental History and Literature alongside earlier experience in finance, supporting strategic planning, budget clarity and confident decision-making.
Today, her studio creates timeless homes that hold character and feel effortless. Homes designed not only to be admired, but to be experienced fully, day after day.

Design is not only about appearance, but about how a space supports daily routines and reflects the individuality of those who live within it.

Although the rooms aren’t very big, Leyla managed to make them feel spacious, functional, and full of character. The brief was to create a home that was both eclectic and modern, leveraging the charm of a Jacobean castle and making best use of the space available. The project was the complete interior design of the inside , outside and building modern extension.
